Happy Birthday Icha

Icha, my girlfriend, celebrated her 24th birthday in Pare, Kediri.  On Tuesday afternoon (15 Dec 2009) this week, friends and classmates of hers in Happy English Course, a course where Icha is studying now, gave surprises and birthday gifts. I'm so glad to hear Icha happy on her special day. But I'm sad because I couldn't be with her in that annual celebration. For your information, celebrating a birthday is very important for Icha; she is often angry and sad when her mother forgets her birthday. Icha told me her classmates poured her with flour and water while others gave her such good presents as books and watches.

While Icha celebrated her birthday in Pare, Icha's cousin Nurul had a cake party at Icha's house for the celebration of her 9th birthday -- which is in the same month as Icha's -- in Merakurak, Tuban. Nurul enjoyed the cake. She arrived in December from Malaysia to see the family in Java and will be back in the end of this month.

Happy birthday, Icha and Nurul! I wish you all the best.

Juru bicara Mozilla -- dilansir dari v3.co.uk -- mengatakan bahwa firefox ponsel akan keluar di akhir 2010. Namun versi Release Candidate-nya (RC) akan hadir dalam hitungan hari. Para netter ponsel patut bersenang dg ini. Sayangnya, peramban milik perusahaan Mozilla ini baru bisa digunakan pada Nokia N900 yang menggunakan sistem operasi Linux Maemo.

MXit Has Its Chatrooms

MXit now allows you to chat in its chatrooms. All you have to do is just to select a chatzone from the chatzone menu by clicking its chatzone number, and start chatting. Unlike the previous one, this feature is now free. You don't need moola (MXit currency) to enjoy chatting, and the chatrooms are open for all users in any country.

If you don't have MXit chat application yet, click here to download to your phone.

Here is how you can start your chatroom talks:

1. Type anything in your Tradepost contact
2. From that tradepost page, you'll see a number of menus. Select Chatzones
3. Here you can chose a chatzone that you think is good for you. For example you choose Globe Zone.
4. In the same page, you'll see a message like: Would you like to subscribe Globe Zone?
5. Click Yes
6. And now see your contact list. A new MXit service contact named Globe Zone has been added.
7. Type any message to your Globe Zone contact.
8. Select one chat room of the 10 available rooms, for instance, Globe Zone 1
9. Enjoy chatting.

Aku mblenek karo istilah njlimet. Tulisan sing akeh mengandung kata njlimet (foreign words) maraake wong sing moco dadi bingung. Percaya ora percaya, tulisanmu malah ora katon apik yen kowe nggawe istilah-istilah londo kaya mengkene iki: support, kontinuitas, analogi, paradigma, adaptasi, inundasi, persuasi, problematika, lan salintune.

La cara ngatasine kepriye? Kowe mung perlu golek kata-kata sing gampang kanggo ngganti kata asing kuwi. Misale kowe ganti kata "problematika" dadi "masalah", kata "inundasi" dadi "mbanjiri", lan "kontinuitas" dadi "keberlanjutan". Tulisanmu katon luwih penak yen nganggo kata sederhana.

Ngono uga dawane kalimat. Ukaran dawa kalimat sing normal kuwi ora luweh saka 20 kata. Uwong cenderung maca karo ngeden supaya bisa mahami tulisan sing kalimate dawa kaya ngono kuwi. La saiki piye yen kalimate wis dawa lan kata-katane uga asing? Bisa ko bayangke! Sing maca bakal bosen.
